Our Story
Paw Puppets was born out of a love for cats.
“Because of a chronic health condition, my cat, Hugo, grew up as an ‘only cat.’ He craved interactive play so intensely that he developed a habit of habitually nipping at our hands and feet. We tried everything—consulting multiple veterinarians and cat trainers, and even hiring a professional cat behaviorist—but nothing seemed to work. Then one day, we decided to try playing a ‘wrestling’ game with him using a child’s hand puppet; he absolutely loved it! Since introducing that puppet toy, he has completely stopped biting our hands and feet—it was a truly transformative turning point in our relationship with him. I knew that for other pet owners struggling with their cats’ ‘play aggression,’ there had to be a better solution out there. - So, I personally crafted the very first ‘hand puppet-style’ toy designed specifically for cats. This toy not only offers a practical solution for owners distressed by their cats’ aggressive behaviors but has also helped countless cats remain in their loving homes, saving them from abandonment.”
